the GIRL doesn’t like mac and cheese. on principle. it’s frustrating. what kind of middle schooler doesn’t like mac and cheese? i don’t know. what kind of HUMAN doesn’t like mac and cheese? I DON’T KNOW.  how can anyone resist the creamy, gooey, salty, and oddly fluorescent orange noodles?  I DON’T KNOW.  point being, i have tried making mac and cheese for her numerous times (homemade, i might add) only to not even have it tasted by her.  but lo and behold, SHE LIKES PASTA WITH CHEESE SAUCE!  apparently i’ve been calling it the wrong thing.  i have been making literally the same pasta for her this past week, but i’ve been calling it pasta with a cheese sauce and she’s ALL over it. LOVES it.  in fact, she has dubbed it the “fancy cheese sauce” and has told me i could make a living off of selling it.  she has even told her parent about this “fancy cheese sauce.”  i DO NOT understand the difference between the wording but hey, if it will make her eat my cooking, i’m all for it.  mac WITH cheese it is.
